Hello DIY‘ers! I’m sorry I’ve been absent these days… I have been working on some projects and on my trip to London. But I’m back with more DIY‘s! Following our last post inspiration eyelet fabric Let’s make a skirt with this type of fabric. I have to admit that I’ve cheated a bit, I didn’t chose the a real eyelet fabric, this one is a stretch kind… but it looks like the original, right? This type of fabric will save us time and effort. Since we can skip the step of sewing a zipper and sewing darts!
Hello DIY’er! Have you already bought all the shop on sales? I found this basic black knit skirt for only 3€. I was unable to resist making a lingerie skirt that is so IN this season. It can also be made on a dress or top. It looks great combined with a thick knit sweater, as it balances the ” fine” and “fragile” lace with the thickness of the sweater… I love this contrast!. In this post you will see how easy it is to make a DIY Lingerie skirt! Do not let this season pass without wearing a garment inspired by lingerie 😉
This last month my cousin from LA has been visiting Spain and I wanted to get her something that had a little Spanish personality and at the same time something I had made with my own hands… I immediately thought of a shawl and to make a fun DIY with this.
This is how I transformed a Seville black shawl embroidered with white roses on it to a wrap skirt. It’s easy to make and depending what top you combine it with you will get one look or another. Would you like to try it?

Since I saw this sequin fabric I fell in love with it … I’ve never seen a sequined fabric like this. It’s a two faced colored sequin fabric with colored horizontal sequin (green, fucsia, blue, purple) in one face and the other face is matte black.
I couldn’t resist making a skirt from scratch with this cool fabric in which you can draw with your finger on the sequins… In this tutorial I will show you step by step how easy it is to make a skirt like this.
The skirt of the moment… Certainly the most photographed and the most sought. The Origami skirt. It’s an overlapped skirt with asymmetric cuts on the front (wrap style skirt). There are several versions of this skirt, the skirt-pant (like the super famous from ZARA ) and other mini skirt types.
After the request of my friends, I made this tutorial on how to make your own origami skirt … WITHOUT SEWING ANYTHING! Get the fabric in the color you prefer and make yours in less than 15 minutes!
