One of the fashion items that I think is the most comfortable, feminine and is really easy to sew is the called kaftan or tunic. I especially like when it’s made in a delicate fabric like lace for a look even more feminine and light. Since this garment in itself takes a lot of fabric to make, a touch of Sheer makes it more beautiful. I have been inspired by these pictures that I found on Pinterest for our next DIY. What do you think? Would you like make a kaftan?

Hello DIY‘ers! Today I’ll show you a way to reuse textile scraps. As a designer, it’s inevitable to feel a great passion for the textile world. When I sew, sometimes I am lucky to work with true wonders of fabrics, unique and very special textiles… And sometimes I’m left with a few pieces of fabric that are too small to sew a whole piece but that I still feel bad about throw in out. So let’s do a DIY with them! DIY scrap bracelet, an easy DIY and a nice gift idea too. An we get to re-use and re-cycle. Yipeee!!
Hello DIY‘ers ! Here’s another piece of our DIY travel kit, do you like it so far? I’m crazy about the whole set and I want to travel with it now!
In this tutorial I will show you how easy it is to make a DIY Brush bag. If you remember the DIY makeup bag tutorial, I explained how important it is for me that the bag don’t get makeup pigment stains inside. So in this DIY I have done the same. I lined the inside of the Brush bag with plastic for easy cleaning with a damp cloth. At the same time, this bag prevents the tips of your brushes from muss and lose their shape by being divided and organized. I hope you like the result of this tutorial.
Hello DIY‘er! I’m finally back in Barcelona and ready to give it all this summer! Hello DIY‘ers! Happy Monday to you! I’m very exited because I’m going to America in some days to my brother’s graduation… And of course I can’t go on this trip without some DIY pieces. Summer is almost here and most of us will do a little vacation trip too, right? So I created a DIY Travel Kit, with different pieces for your convenience when traveling. So let’s start with an easy one, let’s make a DIY makeup bag.
The problem I’ve had with makeup bags, is that it’s almost inevitable that eye shadow, eyeliner or blush ends up staining the bag inside… and your cute makeup bag ends up looking like a piñata of colors and stains inside, and there’s no way to clean that! So with this bag, I decided to make it with a plastic liner to make it very easy to clean with a damp cloth if any accident happens. So let’s start, DO IT YOURSEL TRAVEL KIT starts now!
