As you may have noticed, one of my favorite clothing pieces is the blazers. I think that it’s a great garment to complete any look with a subtle androgynous touch and gives the impression of a clean outfit. Very professional yet sexy.

Do you remember fold-over paint technique you did when you were little? I love this technique because there is no way to get two exact painting and you always get surprised when you unfold the paper!
I have done this fun painting technique on a garment that is very “IN”… The white blazer. It’s a very easy DIY project, with a surprise effect that everybody can do!
One of my favorite garment pieces is the blazer … Since you can combine it in many ways and it goes well with all styles … Yet I think that depending on the color or the shape it hase, it may give you an extremely formal look. That’s why I wanted to refresh this old blazer to give it a more young and edgy look.
With some lace and eyelets you can make this laced up open back blazer for a fresh look and a WOW! impact when you turn around 😉
Some of the DIY’s that I like to do the most is to transform a piece of man clothing in to a woman’s garment. Simply because it’s always a challenge, but with a little imagination and patience the result is surprising.
In this tutorial I’ll show you how I transformed a classic pinstripe man blazer into a woman’s waistcoat with zippers for a rock touch. Find an out of fashion man blazer of your father, brother, boyfriend, friend …. or get it at a second-hand store and let’s get to work!
Transform your classic blazer in to a versatile piece with a zipper to change the length depending on your look and add a touch of color.
