The summer and it’s irresistible colors have inspired this DIY beaded woven bracelet, ideal for the pool or the beach. As a good Scandinavian I can’t miss a Hama bead tutorial on my blog. You will see how easy it is to make a woven beaded bracelet and you can use this technique for many other projects.
If you don’t know Hama beads, they are small tube plastic beads in many colors that you can model on a board to make thousands of designs and melt them with the help of the iron to create forms and figures. It’s actually a product for children, but many adults use them for their creative projects.
I love complex maxi necklaces with big chains! But many times when looking at a maxi necklace I like in a store the price is not my friend… That’s why I couldn’t resist making a Maxi DIY chain necklace in silver (and plus a few tricks of where to get these huge chains very cheap) 😉
As many already knew from my Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, yesterday was the inauguration of the World Swimming Championships FINA in Barcelona and I had the great honor to be part of the organizing team of the event led by Hansel Cereza. Along with many amazing people we have worked for months with rehearsals, designs and production of the entire event. I’ve been responsible for “atrezzo” which means design and development of accessories for both costumes to scenery.
Here I share some photos of the event and some of the “making of” of the preparations and processes for the InaugurationBCN 2013.
I love the sweetness that a subtle touch of lace can give to a look …And using it in your accessories is great! Remember the post “Sexy Lace“? This time I used the same technique, but a summer version, to create a lace pendant you can wear with your favorite necklace. It’s super easy to make, and in less than 3 minutes you’ll have it ready!
Since a long time ago I wanted to experiment with this crafting material, the famous “shrinkable plastic” or “magic plastic”. For those who don’t know it, it’s a sheet size of thin plastic that shrinks up to 70% of its original size. You can create all kinds of crafts and accessories. I couldn’t resist to create a pair of fan-shaped earrings … It’s very easy to use and I’m sure after you try to make accessories out of this product you will be fascinated with the results and possibilities!
I’m sure that like me, you have some pieces of jewelry that you no longer use or are broken … Before throwing them away, re-invent them and make new jewelry pieces.
In this tutorial I will show you how to re-use your old chains and trimmings left over to create an original multi chain bracelet. I used the same technique and some leftover of the tutorial DIY DRAMA necklace.
It’s here! The post in collaboration with FACTORIA DIY! A company that gets inspired by the latest fashion trends and transforms it in to DIY kits with all the materials needed and a step by step instructions, sent to your door. Isn’t this a great way to DIY!?

I love accessories … And no doubt I love making accessories from recycled objects that are not originally designed for this. It’s like a little challenge to make it look good. But I love challenges!
In this tutorial, I will show you step by step how to make a set of a bracelet with earrings from a plastic drip mat. With a few materials you’ll get a super-original accessorie set that you will not want to take off!
XXL Necklaces are a MUST to complete a good look this season. Big rhinestones, metal pieces and the mixture of gold and silver is no longer “NO NO”. Instead of investing a lot of money on one of these necklaces, why not do it yourself and recycle your old accessories … Yes! you heard! RECYCLED! Would you like this necklace that frames your face, draws attention and creates a shinny show on your neck? DIY DRAMA necklace!!
