As typical of summer and vacations, its’ season for trips and getaways! And for our travels we can’t miss a DIY snap.

Let’s do a cover or “case” for our passports, to protect it and carry it with more grace and style. It’s a super easy tutorial and you have thousands of options to customize it to your liking.

Materials:

  • Leather or leatherette
  • scissors
  • ruler
  • Marker / pen
  • textile Glue

Process:

1. Place the leatherette or leather inside out and measure your open passport. Give a little less than half a cm and 4cm sideways and mark them.

2. Cut everything.

3. Place a very thin line of glue on the edge of 4cm extra up and down.

4. Paste inward firmly until it dries.

5. When it’s dry, introduce the passport  to the cover. First the back and then the front.

You have your cover / case for your passport !!! It’s so quick and easy to make. You can customize the cover with some crystals or some travel stickers, or choose a leather with animal print or neon colors. I picked a thick synthetic leather with silver metallic surface.

There are countless options, just look for the style you like!!
