Hello DIY‘ers! After a looooong wedding weekend in Burgos, I’m ready to show you more DIY‘s! (Check out some beautiful wedding location pics on my INSTAGRAM) Today I will show you how I transformed a winter overalls (an impulse buy, without thinking) in to a much more practical summer overalls. I mention this because when I saw these overalls in the store I fell in love and bought them without thinking that these aren’t a very practical garment when you have to take 30 layers of clothing off every time you have to go to the bathroom in winter. (you can imagine what I mean, right?) Apart from this small detail, the bloody overalls had no pockets! And let’s face it, overalls that don’t have pockets to put your hands and strike an interesting pose…ARE NOT COOL! So here is a little DIY transformation: DIY overalls with pockets.
Hello DIY’ers, here is the last post from our DIY Travel Kit series. I loved making this travel kit, I’ve been lucky to use it a couple of times now and I would use it again next weekend for a little wedding getaway.
In this post I will show you how easy it is to make a cosmetic bag or as popularly known as a toilet Bag. The truth is that this is a multifunction bag, I have called it a toilet bag because to me it is very comfortable to carry my toiletries together (creams, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, among other things…) But the truth is that you can use this type of bag to carry shoes or also keep dirty clothes separate from clean clothes inside your suitcase… the inside contents are for you to decide 😉
Hello DIY‘ers! Today I’ll show you a way to reuse textile scraps. As a designer, it’s inevitable to feel a great passion for the textile world. When I sew, sometimes I am lucky to work with true wonders of fabrics, unique and very special textiles… And sometimes I’m left with a few pieces of fabric that are too small to sew a whole piece but that I still feel bad about throw in out. So let’s do a DIY with them! DIY scrap bracelet, an easy DIY and a nice gift idea too. An we get to re-use and re-cycle. Yipeee!!
Hello DIY‘ers! Are you traveling this summer? I hope so! Here I present you with a new post from our DIY Travel Kit series.
One of our fears when traveling is our security, especially if going to an unknown place and we are staying in a hostel or hotel… Today, many hotels have safety boxes in the rooms, but some don’t. This happened to me when I traveled to Thailand last summer. You are put in the position of going out with all your money, cards, documents, passport on you, and eventually you end up overwhelmed. In this case, you can use what I have called the DIY secret hanger. Here you can store whatever you want without being noticed where your stuff is.
Want to make your own? It’s easy!
Hello DIY‘ers! Let’s close a long week just about pineapples…the Pineapple week! with a very simple and fun DIY. We will customize a fabric pouch with faux crystals forming mini pineapples.

Hello DIY‘ers ! Here’s another piece of our DIY travel kit, do you like it so far? I’m crazy about the whole set and I want to travel with it now!
In this tutorial I will show you how easy it is to make a DIY Brush bag. If you remember the DIY makeup bag tutorial, I explained how important it is for me that the bag don’t get makeup pigment stains inside. So in this DIY I have done the same. I lined the inside of the Brush bag with plastic for easy cleaning with a damp cloth. At the same time, this bag prevents the tips of your brushes from muss and lose their shape by being divided and organized. I hope you like the result of this tutorial.
Hello DIY‘er! I’m finally back in Barcelona and ready to give it all this summer! The last few days in Miami were very nice, but the day I had to leave, I was very nervous… A tornado started just in the hours of our flight… so you can imagine… many canceled flights, delays, endless hours and thousands of people with complaints and claims…but I’m here safe and sound and wanting to DIY lots of cool projects!
Following the last post on the blog of Inspiration: drop waist dress let’s recreate the cut of this dress, very easily. Ready to make your drop waist dress in less than 30 minutes? Let’s go for it!
Hello DIY‘ers! Spring is much more present and I feel the urge to wear dresses! Let’s get inspired by these drop waist dresses for our next DIY post. It’s a type of dress cut that was very In in the 20’s and 30’s when women were “liberated” from the corsette’s and began using more loose clothing. It is also one of the great classics of Chanel. I really love the cut, because for us who have short upper body it elongates and slims the figure a lot.
Get inspired by your favorite style and prepare your scissors, soon the DIY drop wait dress on the blog. Continue reading
